Sonic The Hedgehog Hoopla!!!

Every Friday night. my friend and I have a night in with the kids (we take turns at each other's house). We have a natter, some tea, some fun and lots of giggling!! We make each night a different theme and my littlest, Theo decided last night's theme - Sonic the Hedgehog!! We had lots of fun! My favourite bit was the Sonic the Hedgehog Hoopla game I made!! Some photos follow!!

Hedgehog (and mouse, cat, rabbit, alien and snowman!!) breadrolls the kids made!!

Everyone enjoying their hedgehog themed food - mostly on cocktail sticks and stuck into oranges!!

You can see the food a bit better here!!

Sonic the Hedgehog Hoopla!! Made by wrapping a large juice bottle in some blue shiny paper - colouring the ends of some kebab skewers (for points scoring!) and sticking then in (used sharp scissors to make a little hole first) - printed off a Sonic face and stuck on the fron. Hoopla rings made from kitchen foil rolled and secured with sellotape!

Theo playing Sonic Hoopla - he loved it and is now very good at it!! I'm rubbish - I'm lucky if I get one hoop over the nearest spikes!

Night all

My Very Own Little Design Team!!

Well I decided today to make Nienna (my 8 year old Daughter!) the first memebr of my design team and Theo (7 year old son!) the second member upon his request!!! I'm going to get them working on some projects soon and as I'm teaching them how to design digital sheets I will get them to make some for you all as freebies!
Nienna helped me to test out my new box template which will be available on Card Making Downloads and Crafty Card making in the next few days. I will take a photo and upload it tomorrow! I didn't get time today as I had to rush over to my mum's as she was struggling to cope since breaking her arm just before Christmas. My brother was here until Sunday to help but has now gone home.
Sleep tight everyone

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to you all! A wee bit late I suppose but I have been busy with the family!
I hope you've all had a great festive time and are looking forward to the rest of the year!
Took the tree down today whilst the littlies were at their friend's house - Emma and Melissa, their friends stayed over last night - Emma's first sleepover (shes 5). All went very well and we had no tears even though Theo was up til 1:30!!
Well I thought I'd kick the year off with a little freebie for you - some gorgeous shopping lists made with a few of my Nitwit Collections sets.

You can find nitwits here. These are personal use, just for you as I'm sure you'll needing to stock up after the shops were shut for two whole days over christmas and new year!! It always makes me laugh how much we buy for the festivities and in this house we are usually still force feeding ourselves christmas chocolates at Easter, just in time for more!!

You can get the freebie here.
Keep checking back I'm hoping to get a few more freebies up on my google site this year.
