Jolly Holly Day

My Jolly Holly Day kit is now available at the Arda Cards Boutique priced £3. There's loads in it and you can use it for commercial designing with no extra licences to buy and pretty simple terms (I hate wading through complicated T&C's!!)
The graphics are all hand drawn by me (except the bows, buttons and ribbons which are colourised tubes). They feature rope arms and legs and look pretty cute if I say so myself!! I can't quite decide if I like the penguin or reindeer best!!
I'm already working on a new kit, Pinky Moo!! Don't worry though, I'll be getting on with some more Christmas kits soon. I'll rustle up a little freebie for you too.
Also while I remember, I have a few graphics available on PSPTubez. Pop over and have a look at Barry's graphics - he has a good membership offer on just now.
Take Care,
Hugs

Flannel Reindeers

My daughter Nienna is doing an Enterprise at school next term and they have to make things to sell at a Christmas craft fair to raise money for a class trip. We've come up with lots of ideas and thought it would be good to try a few out. Our favourite one was these gorgeous flannel and soap reindeers.
To make them you need a flannel and bar of soap. Put the soap in the middle of the flannel and then roll the front and back corners and perch the rolls on top of the soap. Then gather up the other two corners and tie with ribbon to make the ears. We made antlers using pipe cleaners and pushed them into the top.
Then stick on googly eyes and a pom pom nose. Theo added a bell to his reindeer and a pipe cleaner mouth.
I hope you like them as much as we do!

Jolly Holly Days Kit Sneak Peak

Morning
Well the kids and I have been busy doing some Christmasy crafts over the holidays. I'll post a photo of their absolutely gorgeous soap and flannel reindeers later (once I've charged the camera up!).
But all this Christmas preparation has really got me in the mood (we've even had the Christmas music on!!) so here's a sneak peak of my latest kit "Jolly Holly Days".
I still need to draw a few more graphics and do some papers and word art but hopefully it'll be ready for release very soon.

Online Shop Open for Business

Evening!
Well a little later than hoped but Paul has got over 100 of my designs up for sale at the Arda Cards site.
There's a whopping 25% off at the moment as an introductory offer!
I'm also going to offer one lucky person something extra - I'm hoping a £10 voucher for the store (need to check with my lovely web designer!!) In order to win this voucher, I'm asking that you make a card, box, bag, cracker or something using one of my designs. As the store isn't fully stocked yet I'm going to leave this open for a little while - I'll post a closing date when I know everything is fully up to date in the store. To enter, take a photo of your creation and pop it on your blog, then post a comment here with a link. If you don't have a blog then you can email me with your photo. The winner will be picked out of a hat as I'm sure I won't be able to choose a winner!!
Keep checking back for more news and I'm working on new graphics too - something Egyptian just now and a Pink Cow kit in the pipeline too.
Have a lovely Evening

Autism Awareness Info Card

Hi everyone
I have a very special freebie toady which you may find useful yourself or you may wish to pass on to someone you know. As some of you know, my son Theo has ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). He often finds it difficult when we take him out places and sometimes has tantrums or sulks. I have made some little cards which you or your child can use in these situations or even hand them over to staff at resturaunts or other places you visit.
I have made some different designs available below. Please let me know if you would like some made with a particular design or for a different condition. You may need to let me know what you'd like on them - I'm happy to make personalised ones too.
Ballet
Dinosaur
Giraffe
Jungle
Pirate
Princess
Teddy

Print onto card and then print the second page on the reverse. Alternatively, you could print onto paper and laminate for longer lasting cards.

I hope you find these useful.

Sonic The Hedgehog Hoopla!!!

Every Friday night. my friend and I have a night in with the kids (we take turns at each other's house). We have a natter, some tea, some fun and lots of giggling!! We make each night a different theme and my littlest, Theo decided last night's theme - Sonic the Hedgehog!! We had lots of fun! My favourite bit was the Sonic the Hedgehog Hoopla game I made!! Some photos follow!!

Hedgehog (and mouse, cat, rabbit, alien and snowman!!) breadrolls the kids made!!

Everyone enjoying their hedgehog themed food - mostly on cocktail sticks and stuck into oranges!!

You can see the food a bit better here!!

Sonic the Hedgehog Hoopla!! Made by wrapping a large juice bottle in some blue shiny paper - colouring the ends of some kebab skewers (for points scoring!) and sticking then in (used sharp scissors to make a little hole first) - printed off a Sonic face and stuck on the fron. Hoopla rings made from kitchen foil rolled and secured with sellotape!

Theo playing Sonic Hoopla - he loved it and is now very good at it!! I'm rubbish - I'm lucky if I get one hoop over the nearest spikes!

Night all
